Thank You Bloomberg for Keeping Twitter Safe #ows

Remember when you heard of China blocking internet access to Twitter, Flickr, Bing, Live.com, Hotmail.com and several other sites?

This was back in the summer of 2009. Some say right before the 20th anniversary of Tiananmen massacre on June 4th where the Chinese authorities wanted to “quiet down the entire major social networking and social media part of the web”

Speed up 3 years later and multiple revolutions around the world and we find ourselves readying @Mikebloombergs tweet about opening Twitter offices in NYC. Just don’t “sound” like good news …

On, October 15th International Day of Action for Occupy Wall Street, there were protest from Hong Kong to Rome and at 3:36pm, http://occupywallst.org/ reported :

It appears that Twitter is censoring our updates.

Many reports have popped concerning Twitter censoring, from Trendsmap showing trending twitter hashtags #OccupyWallStreet tweets surging in nations around the entire world, except in the United States to reports of JP Morgan investing $400 million dollars into twitter…. you decide…what do you think the picture above says?
