Based on true events, Peter & I is a musical brimming with questions of faith, loss, salvation, love and immortality. It explores the mysteries surrounding the life and death of Michael Llewelyn Davies; one of the boys who inspired J.M. Barrie to create the character of Peter Pan in his classic tale, “Peter and Wendy.
7ONE8 created the brand vocabulary from logo, postcard to poster and website elements.
The production ran from October 6 – October 16, 2011 at the Chernuchin Theater at the American Theater of Actors as part of The Araca Project, a new program created by The Araca Group to support emerging theatre artists.
Peter & I features music by Matt Vinson and book and lyrics by Matte O’Brien, whose most recent work includes the Whoopi Goldberg-produced and Jeff-nominated White Noise at the Royal George in Chicago and the Le Petite Theatre in New Orleans. O’Brien will also direct the production, which will feature musical direction by Amanda Morton.
