The D://Boi movement has attracted press from Papermag, sponsorship from 1800 Tequila and Sagres Beer and most recently performed in Dallas Fashion Week and open act for Rapper T.I. in West Virginia.


In 2010, the website was redesigned in time for Afropunk Festival 2010 and All Star Weekend.
