when I first started in 1998 bartering is what kept me afloat! I didn’t have to buy handbags or pay to go to events. I would design their identity and WALLAAA, I had a great closet and social life. Unfortunately bartering did not help pay the bills as I grew the business from office rent to workers compensation =(
